Ai digwaiq

From Abzû

Ai digwaiq (Kwang: 'pain (due to) not having rice') is a purported Qonklese culture-bound syndrome, caused by not having access to either rice in general or good quality white rice. In those affected by it, it typically manifests as a semi-depressive state and a general lost of interest in things or activities that would normally bring them pleasure. This typically affects culturally Qonklese people who are living abroad in an area where rice is not readily available.
