Holy Jwanna

Holy Jwanna, officially Holy Jwanna, Peerless in Glory, Light of the World, often simply as Jwanna, is a sovereign city-state within Qonklaks. Independent since 1833, it is the smallest country on Abzû, occupying less than 23 km² in area. It has its own government, the Jwanna Grand Temple, which represents the city-state in international diplomacy. Its head of state is the Avatar of Hounshi.

Geography

Prior to 1963, the boundary between Holy Jwanna and Qonklaks was undemarcated and open, with travel into and out of Holy Jwanna free and unrestricted. However, since 1963, after the Nuclear Crisis of 1962, a permeable but heavily fortified border with a 50-meter no-man's-land on the Qonklese side.
