The Jiqjõ Reforms are a series of promulgations made between 1729 and 1732 by the Jiqjõ Emperor that led to the foundation of the Celestial Empire.

Background

Despite successfully reintegrating the breakaway state of Later Twã by 1637, the Byàn dynasty faced a steady period of stagnation during the late 17th century as they felt the financial and manpower drain caused by the almost one hundred years of near-constant warfare with the breakaway state.
