Bidan is the semi-mythical doubled-edged sword of the founding monarch of the Kingdom of Wa, Wa Thaiyain. In folklore, it was created from forging starlight in the breath of a fire demon in a celestial furnace for 128 days, and was originally used by Hounshi. It was granted to Wa Thaiyain to protect his realm from malicious spirits.
